Toyota has fixed half of the 180k cars recalled over the sticky throttle problems It seems like forever ago that we revealed the enormous problems Toyota had with a mass worldwide recall on a  chunk of the cars they’ve produced in the last few years, but it’s actually only a little over a month – even less since we reported on the Prius recall. Volvo will overhaul its naming system in the coming years - removing some of the uncertainty over odd numbers in the same range, such as the S40 and V50.Chief executive Stephen Odell today admitted he found Volvo's badges confusing when he first joined Volvo two years ago. 'When I arrived at Volvo I struggled to understand the nomenclature,' he admitted. 'Yes, we will be changing it.'Under the new naming system, the S40 and V50 would carry the same number.

2009 Bentley Arnage headed for Pebble Beach debut

Bentley is one of the featured marques at this year's Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, and the British luxury-car maker will use the event as the stage to roll out the successor to the Arnage. On Wednesday, Bentley released a second teaser photo of the new car. It shows a slanted C-pillar and a curved body-character line flowing into the rear quarter-panel.
