I am listing a large collection of GM memorabilia for a friend. This auction is for an original 1997 Pontiac Firebird sales brochure. It is a 7 page flyer plus a double page fold-out in the back. It measures 9" X 10-3/4" with the centerfold being a red Firebird. It also lists the WS6 model for that year. Ford to offer 4 vehicles in 2011 with certified EPA ratings of 40 mpg
Tue, 16 Nov 2010Ford Motor Co. expects the 2012 Focus compact to earn 40 mpg, giving the automaker four vehicles that produce 40 mpg or more in 2011. Three of the 2011s--the Fiesta subcompact SE with SFE package, Fusion Hybrid and Lincoln MKZ Hybrid sedans--have certified 2011 EPA ratings of 40 mpg highway/41 city.
Spyker production starts at CPP

A few months ago we reported that Spyker were moving production of their cars to the UK, in to the very capable hands of CPP Manufacturing, a Coventry-based specialist company already responsible for making most of what goes in to a Spyker.
Autostyle Design Competition 2013: The Results
Thu, 10 Oct 2013The results of the tenth annual Autostyle 2013 design competition are in, with three Italian and two French design students earning this year's top plaudits. The contest challenged students from eight schools from around the world to create a custom vehicle from a Citroën Revolte concept, Suzuki SX4, Audi Crosslane, Land Rover Defender DC100 concept or Maserati Ghibli. The schools involved were: Creapole; Istituto Europeo di Design (IED); Institut Supérieur du Design (ISD); Istituto Superiore Scienza dell'Automobile di Modena (ISSAM); Politecnico di Milano; Royal College of Art; Strate College; and Umeå University of Design.
