Thu, 21 Feb 2013The new Enzo Ferrari – the F150 – will arrive at Geneva, cost €1-1.1m Euros, just 499 will be built and delivery starts in October. We know for sure that the new McLaren P1 will come with 903bhp courtesy of a ‘hybrid’ boost, and it seems likely the new Enzo – the Ferrari F150, until we get the proper name – will usurp that with somewhere between 920 and 950bhp from its V12 plus electric boost. Thu, 13 Jun 2013The new Range Rover (pictured) get Car Dealer Magazine’s Car of the Year Award The new Range Rover may have started its trophy cabinet with an award for the best 4×4 from the Sunday Times – even though they’d never driven it – but the Car of the Year Award from Car Dealer Magazine is a much more credible one. It’s more credible because it’s voted on by car dealers across the UK – from a wide range of franchises – and gives credibility not just to the new Range Rover but to Land Rover’s support of dealers too. Car Dealer Magazine say the new Range Rover was the clear winner by a mile, with dealers commenting the latest version of the Range Rover is a gargantuan step on from the old model – which itself was already very good – and that it ‘Cannot fail to impress’.
Nissan boosts electric charging network
Thu, 10 Oct 2013NISSAN is accelerating plans for a European-wide Quick Charge (QC) network for electric vehicles by giving away 400 new quick charging stations free of charge. These new points will boost existing networks and give EV customers greater freedom and flexibility by effectively extending the range of their car. Countries across Europe have been asked to pitch for a charging network and the best ‘bids’ will win an allocation of chargers.
