Rare:! Original owner's manuals set for 1997 Porsche 911 (993 chassis) Carrera + Carrera 4 + Carrera 4S + Turbo: Coupe, Targa and Cabriolet models. This is an authentic, original print and period correct Porsche literature set!

This manual set is NOT a recently circulated item (the books are not reprints either). This set has been in our collection for at least the last 10 years!

1- Genuine Porsche embossed black (grained leather) manuals pouch (storage case) --- NOS: New Old Sock - never been used before!

2- Owner's Manual 911 Carrera / 911 Turbo (WKD 993 021 97   5/96) 168 pages --- in good condition - both covers show indentations, wear and creases - interior pages are all intact and in great condition!

3- Maintenance booklet (WKD 900 023 97   4/96) 16 pages --- good condition but shows indentations, creases and wear marks on both covers - prior vehicle information sticker has been peeled off - no prior owner information has been entered - first in service date stamped in Sept 1997 in CA-USA- five additional services recorded - last service stamp entered in Dec 2000 @ 33,770 miles!

4- CR 210 owner's manual (WKD 478 624 97   3/97) 65 pages in both English and in French

5- Bonus Booklet: 54 page collector's edition glossy booklet with pictorials and technical specifications of the various 993 models

Overall this manual set is in VERY GOOD condition!

Mini and Miles Ahead team up for teen driving school at Indy

Mini has teamed up with new teen driving school Miles Ahead to bring licensed youth to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and train them to drive properly. Indy 500 veteran Stephan Gregoire founded the effort to combat the high number of crashes, injuries and deaths involving teenage drivers. The chance of a teen crashing in the first three years of driving is 82.9 percent, according to Mini, and a 16-year-old is 20 times more likely to be killed in a crash than an adult.

End of the road for 'Queen's favourite' car
