Very rare: Original owner's manuals set for 1997 Porsche 911 (993 chassis) Carrera 2 + Carrera 4 + Turbo: Coupe, targa and Cabriolet models. This is an authentic, original, period correct and vintage Porsche literature set.

List of contents:

1- Genuine Porsche embossed black manuals pouch (textured real leather storage case) --- the leather is in great condition without any major scratches or rips, but being a used item and natural leather it will show some blemishes and stress marks - indentations are noticed on the back side - please see photos!

2- Porsche 911 Carrera / 911 Turbo Owner's Manual (WKD 993 021 97   5/96) 168 pages of reading material and technical information --- very good condition - some wear, light creases and indentation marks show on the covers - all the interior pages are present and intact - please see photos!

3- Warranty and Customer Information 1997 (WKD 900 123 97   16 M   8/96) 916 pages --- no prior information has been entered - the original change of address / change of ownership transfer cards are present!

4- Maintenance booklet (WKD 900 023 97   4/96) --- pages1-2 bearing the prior vehicle information and prior owner's information have been previously removed - light wear marks on the covers - only one stamp was recorded at first delivery in Apr 1997 @ 25 miles in Beverly Hills-CA!

5- Consumer Information Supplement 1995 book (WKD 900 123 95   8.0 M   6/94) 60 pages --- no prior information has been entered - the original change of address / change of ownership transfer card is present - indenations on the front cover - crease line on the back cover!!

6- Porsche CR 210 booklet (WKD 478 624   6/96) 65 pages --- in English and in French!

7- Dealer Directory book December 1996

Overall this manual set is in GREAT condition!

The new 2013 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible has been revealed ahead of a launch at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November. The new Beetle Convertible is due to bow in at the LA Auto Show in November  but VW obviously decided it was pragmatic to get an early reveal out of the way before the new Bug soft top trickled on to the Interwebs of its own accord. What we get is what we expected (although we did hold out a little hope the new Beetle Cabriolet would look more like the E-Bugster Cabriolet Concept); a convertible version of the 2012 Beetle with a pram style soft top that sits on the boot.

We got to fling a prototype of the coming Nissan electric vehicle around the parking lot at Dodger Stadium and, like the Dodgers themselves on Opening Day, it was a winner. The prototype body was a previous-generation Cube, but the drivetrain of the car was "99 percent there," according to Nissan. So we drove an old car with the new drivetrain.
