  1. I had this on my 1998 115 Johnson outboard and it started to slip.  So I replaced it with another used one. this is sold as is.  it does work but needs repairs or used for parts. it wont last if you just bolt it on your power head.  all the splines I can see are good. there are no repairs to the casing, everything spins free as it should.  what it did was as my boat was going on the water is it felt like I hit a log then not. and after a while it just kept doing it over and over.  I did not hit anything. anyways. everything is good other then what ever inside is causing it to do that. part is sold as is and you get what you see in the picture. So if you need parts cause you damaged your housing or want to rebuild the drive tran inside and use it. this is a good part for you.

Chicago Auto Show interactive web tour launches

Interactive media company 360° Revo and the Chicago Automobile Trade Association (CATA) has launched a web-based, interactive tour of the 2012 Chicago Auto Show. Automobile enthusiasts worldwide who could not make it to the show – the press days of which ran from 8-9 February – will be able to tour the exhibitions and even go inside specific vehicles featured at this year's show. This is the first time the CATA, producer of the Chicago Auto Show, and 360° Revo has worked together and with the media company's technology comes the ability for online users to navigate and explore the auto show floor and visit individual exhibits.

The 14 students graduating from the BA (Hons) Transportation Design course based in Newcastle in the north east of England have been exhibiting their work in their studios at Northumbria University as well as at the Lingotto building in Turin, Italy. The summer degree exhibitions were held in June. The work students exhibited comprises of either a major concept or evaluation project as well as competition work submitted early in the final year.

Citroen unveils DS Inside concept

Citroen on Thursday unveiled the DS Inside concept car ahead of the its scheduled debut at the Geneva auto show in March. Sources told Automotive News Europe that the three-door hatchback concept is a near-production version of the planned DS3 small car, which will go on sale across Europe in early 2010. The DS3 will be the first element of Citroen's planned three-car "near-premium" range.
