Redesigned 2012 Toyota Yaris starts at $14,875; Sequoia, Tundra and Sienna prices up slightly

The base price of the redesigned Toyota Yaris small car starts at about $1,000 more than the current car. Meanwhile, prices are only slightly changed for the 2012 Toyota Sequoia, Tundra and Sienna models. General Motors and Ford load up on small cars for bigger profits

Ford has no qualms about charging nearly $23,000 for a fully loaded 2011 Fiesta, which is smaller than the Focus. Mercedes SLS AMG – production begins

The Mercedes SLS AMG has gone in to production in Germany I don’t know why – as Mercedes hadn’t previously announced it – but we guessed that they’d already started to put the Mercedes SLS AMG in to production ready for the first customer cars to start hitting in the Spring. But apparently they’ve only just started. The SLS AMG is due to arrive in Germany at the end of March at a base price of €177,310 and is being produced at the Mercedes factory in Sindelfengen, Germany.
