Superlite 4R Big Brake Front Brake Kit (Race)

Kits in this competition group are configured for use in production category road racing that allow brake upgrades, but limit modifications to four-piston calipers and 12.20” rotors.

BSL4R/ST calipers use Thermlock pistons to resist fade and extend service life by reducing the heat transfer into the caliper from the pads. GT series directional vane rotors provide high cooling efficiency and durability mounted to the hubs with forged aluminum GT hats.

Kits also include high temperature race compound pads, stainless steel flexlines, and premium grade hardware for installation in 16” and larger wheels.

Nissan Juke Nismo revealed – more Nismo cars on the way

Tue, 29 Nov 2011

Probably best to think of Nismo as Nissan’s version of Infiniti’s IPL – a performance line of cars – to add a little more pizzaz and appeal to mainstream cars.

Maximilian Missoni has been promoted to the position of vice president of exterior design at Volvo Cars. He replaces Fedde Talsma, who has elected to leave the company. Talsma's decision brings to an end a career at Volvo that began in 1982, with the past nine years spent as the firm's exterior design director.  Although Volvo states that Talsma has retired after serving 31-years at the Swedish firm, his LinkedIn profile states that he is now an independent automotive design adviser in his native Netherlands.

Want wagons? Kill the crossover

Mon, 27 Jan 2014

Cadillac boss Bob Ferguson recently told Automotive News that GM is considering an ATS wagon. Autoweek contributor and GM big shot Mark Reuss is on record speaking in favor of wagons. And whether they know it or not, American car buyers need a station wagon, but not a wagon built to satisfy station-wagon fetishists.
