The BMW 1 Series M Coupe - it's official The whole ‘Will it – Won’t it’ debate about a BMW 1 Series ‘M’ version has been rumbling on for decades (not quite, it just feels that way) with many convinced that not only would BMW make an ‘M’ car for their smallest car but would call it the M1. It was laughable (we can say that because, thankfully, we always rubbished the idea) to think BMW would waste an iconic moniker on a baby ‘M’ car. Jeep Wrangler Unlimited joins Altitude lineup

Jeep is adding a Wrangler Unlimited model to the Altitude lineup. It will join the Patriot, Compass and Grand Cherokee Altitude models in showrooms next month. The Altitude name won a vote on Jeep's Facebook page and beat out names such as Midnight and Obsidian for the blacked-out trim package.

New cars 'cheaper to insure' for young drivers

NEW CARS are actually cheaper for young drivers to insure than old bangers, insurance broker Be Wiser has claimed. Figures from the company reveal that the cheapest car for youngsters to insure at the moment is a Volkswagen Up, which costs around £3,000 per year based on a 17-year-old driver in a large city. The same customer looking to insure a 20-year-old Ford Fiesta would be facing a bill of almost £4,000, with insurance premiums even higher in some parts of the country.
