Hyundai i30 2010 revealed
Fri, 04 Dec 2009The Hyundai i30 - updated for 2010 Hyundai’s cars get more competent and more appealing with every passing launch. We’ll soon see the Hyundai ix35 launched in the UK, followed soon after by the Hyundai i40 /Sonata. But Hyundai isn’t ignoring its existing models, and has just announced updates to the i30 for 2010.
UK & Germany announce investments in Hydrogen Filling Stations
Fri, 10 Oct 2014Daimler & Linde are investing in Hydrogen refuelling stations in nGermany The first real world hydrogen powered cars are just starting to hit roads in Europe, and probably the biggest obstacle to their success is a comprehensive refuelling network. But attempts to start to address that problem have now been announced in the UK and Germany. In the UK, the government is investing £11 million – part-funded by industry – to create new hydrogen filling stations in the UK in the next year.
Hyundai i30 SR – a taste of Sporty Hyundai
Fri, 19 Oct 2012Hyundai in Australia has revealed the Hyundai i30 SR, an i30 with a 2.0 litre petrol engine and a sportier edge. Hyundai in the UK defaults to its diesel engine offerings across almost its entire range, with the Golf challenging i30 offering only a 1.4 litre petrol with a very modest 98bhp apart from the diesel offerings. But Hyundai in Australia marches to its own beat and has rather bigger ambitions for the brand than Hyundai exhibit in most of the rest of the world, with thoughts about a Hyundai ‘Genesis’ luxury brand (although that seems to have come to nought so far) and their very own ‘Sporty’ take for the Hyundai range in the ‘SR’ model.
