Volkswagen Touran
Mon, 12 Apr 2010Volkswagen unveiled the new Touran at the Leipzig Motor Show last week. Though not an entirely new design, the revisions to the Touran were made to bring the car in line with other offerings in the Volkswagen stable - namely the Polo, Golf and the recently revealed Touareg SUV. At the front, a new grille with horizontal lines sits atop a new front bumper, while revised taillights with LED bulbs join a new tailgate and bumper at the rear.
VW Golf GTE: the GTI goes hybrid for Geneva Motor Show 2014
Fri, 21 Feb 2014Volkswagen is pitching its brand new plug-in hybrid Golf as a hot hatch. Called the Golf GTE, it will sit in the range alongside the latest petrol-powered GTI and diesel-powered GTD models. Expect a nostalgic tear or two in eyes of older performance Vauxhall fans.
Maserati GranTurismo
Thu, 22 Feb 2007Maserati has released photos of their new coupe, the GranTurismo, in advance of its unveiling at Geneva next week. Designed by Pininfarina, the sketches also circulating were by Jason Castriota who penned the Maserati Birdcage concept shown in Geneva in 2005, before it turned heads at the Goodwood Festival of Speed that year. There is affinity between the two designs, and a more aggressive look than the current car designed by ItalDesign.
