Video: Peter Schreyer on premium proportion

Kia has released a short film featuring Peter Schreyer that provides an insight into the world of premium car design in which he explains the importance of proportion. In the presentation, Schreyer sketches the company's new K9 sedan, describing how a rear-wheel drive platform affects the car's design, with its generous wheelbase, short front overhang and the 'prestige distance' between the center of the front wheel and the A-pillar. Peugeot HR1 concept

Alongside the new 508, Peugeot unveiled a B-segment SUV concept called the HR1 in Paris. The new car builds on the new design identity established by the SR1 concept, but also features elements of the diminutive BB1 concept revealed at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show. Volkswagen Scirocco Million celebrates a million Sciroccos – but not for the UK

A million sales of a particular model of a car is something to celebrate, so Volkswagen is building a special edition Scirocco – the Scirocco Million ()catchy little name) – to celebrate the event. But it’s not exactly a world wide celebration. In fact, VW is only offering the Scirocco Million in Germany and China, which perhaps tells you more about where the Scirocco still ramps up sales than anything else.
