Jaguar Land Rover drops plans to close one of three England plants

Jaguar Land Rover said Friday it no longer plans to close one of its three auto plants in England after reaching an agreement with trade unions. The automaker, which Ford Motor Co. sold to India's Tata Motors in 2008, said it would be significantly increasing the number of models in its range and creating thousands of jobs over the next decade.

Czech Car Maker Offers A Vision Of Its Future

SKODA has long since cast off its budget car image, but just in case you remain on the fence regarding the Czech firm’s premium market aspirations, it’s revealed a smart new concept car ahead of the Geneva Motor Show, called the VisionC. BASF launches car seat design competition

BASF has launched 'Sit down. Move.', the first global car seat design competition. The contest asks for designers to submit their ideas for a car concept car seat using BASF materials and will be judged by three renowned industrial and automotive designers: Dave Lyon, former-Executive Director of Interior Design America for GM, industrial designer Konstantin Grcic and former Pininfarina designer Ken Okuyama along with BASF representatives.
