You are bidding on an OEM original LEFT (driver's side) tail light assembly from a 1999 Toyota Avalon sedan.  This item will fit several years and models; check your application before bidding.  It is used but in good condition, nice, but not perfect; some minor scratches and scuffs.  The bulb socket wiring harness is included but not guaranteed, use yours if necessary.  Original Toyota part, not aftermarket, so the colors will look right.  Shipping is FREE for USA 48 states only.

Hyundai makes Kia’s Peter Schreyer Hyundai design guru too

The newly appointed Kia President, Peter Schreyer, has now been made Hyundai President in charge of design too. Peter Schreyer’s success in making Kia a real design force led to him being appointed a Kia President at the end of 2012, handsome reward for the changes he’s wrought at Kia since leaving VW, turning Kia’s range of cars from stodgy to convincing in a few short years. But Kia is the junior partner in the Hyundai-Kia business, so Hyundai are obviously not totally thrilled that Kia managed to snaffle a designer who’s eye manages to so convincingly hit the Zeitgeist firmly on the head.

Mercedes-Benz has released a video exploring the interior of its new A-Class featuring the designer who headed the project. Jan Kaul explains in the video how the inspiration behind the interior was the subject of aviation, the same inspiration that produced the Concept A-Class show car. "The theme running through the design of the A-Class was definitely ‘less is more,'" says Kaul.
