Up for auction is a good running 1998 Evinrude 150 hp Ficht fuel injected outboard motor with a 25" XL shaft. When I got this motor it was not in running condition, prior owner couldnt figure it out. Well somehow the fuel pump wire harness had came unplugged and was just hanging there. I really didnt think it could really be that easy, but it turned out to be just that. I test ran the motor on a stand for 15 min, it runs great. Compression is excellent on all 6 cylinders too. Now OMC had some issues with these Ficht motors back in the late 90's. If the owner did not have the upgrade kit installed the motor would probably fail and go down. This motor has had the upgrade kit installed by a dealer and will probably run great for many many years to come. I have not hooked up a computer to this motor to read the hours, but just looking it over it doesnt seem to have a ton of hours on it, its a pretty clean motor. It was only ever run in fresh water, and has no corrosion of any kind on it. It has the fastrak power trim & tilt on it that works fantastic. The motor will come with the propeller pictured and it too is in very good condition. Silling motor as is as it is a used outboard engine with no remaining warranty. Please email me if you have any questions. Thanks!!

I can ship this motor anywhere in the lower 48 states from $150 to $250 depending on where you live and if a lift gate will be needed to unload motor at your place. If you have a way to unload the motor it will be cheaper. Residential delivery is not a problem, I can get motor right to your front door. The motor will be shipped on an actual outboard shipping crate to protect it from in transit damage.

ASKING ONLY $2500 FOR A $4000 MOTOR??? WHY FOR QUICK SALE IS ONLY REASON!!!!

Volvo’s ‘Drive Me’ is the world’s first large-scale autonomous driving pilot project

Mon, 02 Dec 2013

Yes, you’ll be able to chat on the phone when the Volvo does the driving for you Like it or not, we’re rapidly moving to the point where autonomous cars will be the norm, with the driver only being involved in the act of driving by choice. Volvo – unsurprisingly with their stated goal of making sure no one dies in a Volvo in future – is at the forefront of the move to autonomous driving, and have teamed up with the Swedish Transportation Administration, the Swedish Transport Agency, Lindholmen Science Park and the City of Gothenburg in a project called ‘Drive Me - Self-driving cars for sustainable mobility’. The project kicks off next year with customer research and the development of the necessary technology and Volvo aims to have 100 autonomous cars on the roads of Gothenburg by 2017, where they’ll be driving round approximately 50 kms of selected roads, including commuter roads, motorways and regular queues.

And that’s exactly what Mazda are doing with the new Mazda3. The ‘Mazda Route3 – Hiroshima to Frankfurt Challenger Tour 2013′ will see eight new Mazda3s setting off from the Mazda factory in Hiroshima, heading for Russia, through Belarus and Poland before ending up in Frankfurt, Germany.
