This item was removed from a 1998 Cherokee with 155k miles. I have limited experience with Cherokee's so let me list what I have been able to dig up:

This item is from 1998 Cherokee. The item has everything pictured . the car ran fine previous to removal 8-22-2013, obviously we cannot test the item now but it is sold with a 30 day warranty...

Probe of the Ford F-150 is expanded to cover 2.7 million vehicles
Mon, 09 May 2011U.S. safety regulators have expanded to 2.7 million vehicles an investigation into faulty fuel-tank straps on Ford F-150 pickups. Officials are looking into whether the straps that hold the fuel tanks can rust and break on F-150s from the 1997-2001 model years.
