Infiniti releases Q50 teaser video

Infiniti has released a short clip teasing its new Q50 sedan ahead of its reveal in Detroit this month. From the video we can see the Q50's new headlight design that integrates a curving LED ‘eyebrow', while we can see more LEDs around the main lamps, bringing the lamp graphics found on the brand's recent concept cars to production. The Q50 will be the first model to launch under the carmaker's new naming policy, where each model will see either a Q (sedans) or a QX (crossovers and SUVs) attached to its name.

Government Urges Passengers To 'Speak Up' To Halt Drink-Drivers

IN A bid to prevent drunk drivers from taking the wheel the Government is encouraging passengers to speak up to help reduce the risk of any serious consequences. This advice comes from Transport Minister Robert Goodwill, following a survey showing a quarter of those who had been in a car with an over-the-limit driver had been too embarrassed to act. SEAT Compact SUV gets a green light for 2016 (SEAT IBX Concept pictured) SEAT has been threatening to build a compact SUV for years, and back in 2011 it revealed the IBX Concept (pictured above) which was the SEAT take on the Audi Q3. Now, finally, it seems VW has signed-off on SEAT’s compact SUV and the new compact SUV will hit the market in 2016, hopefully giving SEAT’s poor sales a real boost. Expected to be based on the VW MQB platform, the SEAT SUV should enable SEAT to properly compete in Europe and tap in to a market that has grown by 40 per cent in the last few years whilst SEAT’s existing market for its cars has shrunk and been compromised by a weak economy in Europe where the vast majority of SEAT’s sales are made.
