The manufacturer has released a first image as well as a video of the new crossover concept, which is set to sit above the hugely successful Qashqai in Nissan's crossover range. This model – joining the Juke, Qashqai and Murano – continues Nissan's commitment to the segment.

It's a two-seater, three-wheeled electric city car that Toyota reckons is the future of urban motoring. Is the Toyota i-Road a potential Renault Twizy rival? If it does go into production, the pair could be pretty close.
