The older Vehicles of Toyota and Lexus functioned a little different from the more recent ones. There's many differences but the one you will care about the most is that if you lost your key to your Vehicle it will cost you a lot of money for the new key. It will cost you a high price because Toyota and Lexus didn’t want to give anyone access to the ECU through the data diagnostic port. That means you can’t just plug a diagnostic machine and just add keys like you can in the later Vehicles. Now you have 2 options:
Reflashing means that we write over the recent files in the ECU and convert it back to its original new condition. After we overwrite it we can add in the new keys.
