The new photographs on the road reveal a mid-engined sports car that looks immediately more modern than the previous studio shots. The climbing headlight design is unusual for a Ferrari, and we can now see banks of LED lights and horizontal strakes rising up the front fender alongside the aero vents.

Johnson Controls develops 3D Multilayer Instrument Cluster concept

Johnson Controls has developed a new instrument cluster concept that displays its information through a 3D interface. The Multilayer Instrument Cluster concept, initially intended for use in full- and mid-size luxury cars, is designed to improve the safety of the driver and the overall efficiency of the vehicle. Michelin Challenge Design 2009 preview

The Michelin Challenge Design exhibit at the 2009 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) will feature 11 scale models and 24 two-dimensional drawings  selected by a jury of top automotive designers. In the weeks leading up to NAIAS, Michelin Challenge Design will be profiling some of the selected participants and their work. One such participant is Zsolt Tarnok, whose 'Concept SsS' represents a new icon for America, combining design cues and traditions from the past with ultra-modern technology.
