All four classes of the teen driving school B.R.A.K.E.S. were packed last weekend as 160 teens age 16 to 18 from all over Southern California took part in the school's West Coast debut. McLaren has confirmed the McLaren P13 will arrive in 2015. The original plan for McLaren’s new range of supercars was that the 458-bashing 12C would arrive first (which it did) followed by a more affordable mid-engined car – think nearer £100k than £200k – to mop up sales from the Porsche 911 and Audi R8. But McLaren decided they should get the P1 out before the P13 so they could give their dealer network a nice halo model, and go head-to-head with LaFerrari and the Porsche 918 Spyder.

Honda recalls Civic hybrids for converter failure

Honda is recalling 36,656 of its 2006- and 2007-model-year Civic hybrids to replace the DC-to-DC convertor. The converter may fail and cause the engine to stall and the headlamps to malfunction. The DC-to-DC converter is part of the Integrated Motor Assist hybrid-control system, according to Honda.
