This throttle body was carefully removed from a 2001 Volvo S60 2.4.  It is compatible with Volvo vehicles of the years and models listed below.

1999-2000 Volvo C70, S70, S80, V70
2001 Volvo C70, S60, S80, V70
2002 Volvo C70, V70

This is the white label version, which is the original version that came with the car when it was manufactured. The unit was removed from a wrecked vehicle, so that indicates to me that it was working at the time.

It appears that the date code cast in the housing is from 2001.  Some of the split-tubing that covers the wiring could use some patching up, but the wiring itself is not damaged.

MINI miffed at Spy Photos of 2014 MINI Hatch

MINI has released their own ‘Spy’ shot of the 2014 MINI hatch (pictured above) The rise and rise of the internet in recent years has seen the once niche market for spy photos of unreleased cars go mainstream, and whether car makers like it or not they can be sure the moment they take their new pride and joy on the road it will be papped and online. Most unrevealed cars go out testing covered in swirly camouflage and padded add-ons to disguise shape and form, but this week a 2014 MINI hatch was snapped with no disguise at all, and it didn’t look great. It didn’t look great because the photo was taken from such a distance it distorted perspective and made the new MINI look a very odd shape.

JLR's UK restructuring is on track despite the stories in this weekend's press Back in September, JLR (Jaguar Land Rover) announced that it intended closing one of its Midlands factories as part of a long-term plan to breathe new life in to the future of JLR. We dutifully reported that but confess we took the easy ‘Bad News’ tack on the story. It was obvious; JLR are closing a factory ergo bad news.

This is the first image of the Honda CR-V concept, a vehicle that previews the fourth generation CR-V expected to be revealed at the LA auto show in November. The new CR-V's thinly veiled concept precursor highlights a new front face, sculpted bodysides and kick-up DLO shape that will appear on the production car. Inside, Honda claims the new CR-V will offer an ‘accommodating and spacious interior' with a ‘host of new possibilities'.
