What we still haven’t completely got our heads around is the plethora of models subsequently revealed at the show itself. The new 308 CC follows the same formula with a metal roof that somersaults into its loadbed in 20 seconds to leave a completely flat (if long) rear deck.Gobbling boot space as it goes?Naturally, the boot shrinks when the roof is lowered, dipping from 465 litres to 266 when it's stowed.

The non-binding memorandum of understanding covers the development and manufacturing of a new roadster for the Mazda and Alfa Romeo marques based on Mazda’s next-generation MX-5 rear-wheel-drive architecture, according to the statement issued this morning.
