Mon, 12 May 2014The Maserati Ghibli (pictured) helped Maserati to strong sales in UK & Europe Maserati are on a mission to revive sales for the marque after years of being just an afterthought for car buyers fancying something interesting and Italian. Nissan Juke Nismo revealed – more Nismo cars on the way
Tue, 29 Nov 2011Nissan Juke Nismo - the first of a range of Sporty Nismo cars Nissan has revealed the Nissan Juke Nismo – a sportier take on the compact SUV – and has plans to produce Nismo cars across their range. Just so we’re clear: The Nissan Juke Nismo revealed this morning is nothing like the Juke/GT-R love child Juke-R madness we’ve reported recently; the Juke Nismo is much more mainstream. Probably best to think of Nismo as Nissan’s version of Infiniti’s IPL – a performance line of cars – to add a little more pizzaz and appeal to mainstream cars.
Bentley Blowers take on the 2013 Mille Miglia
Wed, 15 May 2013The first is the No.2 Team Car raced by Tim Birkin – one of the Bentley Boys – at Le Mans and bought back by Bentley in 2000. Perhaps best known for its tussle with Mercedes’ awesome 7 litre Kompressor at Le Mans in 2013, the car has been regularly put to good use round the world since Bentley bought it back. The second Blower was originally a Bentley demonstrator, completed in 1930, and has a Vandan Plas Open Sports Four Seater body and after its life as a demonstrator was sold off but bought back in 1997 and it too has been carrying the historical banner for Bentley around the world ever since.
