IT SLIDES, AND ENGAGES THE DOG IN, AND OUT OF REVERSE, AND HIGH, AND LOW GEARS VERY WELL. THE SHAFTS ARE ALSO IN GOOD CONDITION,THE SPLINES, AND THE THREADS ARE NOT STRIPPED.THE GEARS  ARE NOT CHIPPED, OR DAMAGED. THE BEARINGS ARE INTACT, AND IN  GOOD SHAPE. THE SILENT CHAIN IS ALSO IN REALLY GOOD SHAPE. THE LINKS ARE SECURE, AND IT IS NOT STRETCHED. Mitsubishi is set to unveil a duo of concepts at the Tokyo motor show later this month, the first of which is the snappily titled Concept PX-MiEV II. The PX-MiEV II is a plug-in hybrid-powered, mid-sized corssover. Externally, the PX-MiEV II appears to be similar in concept to its Outlander stable mate, with a high DRG featuring lights that run into the plexi-grille; a subtle reminder of the car's electric drive train.

Jaguar XKR-S Convertible - For Sale at £103k in the UK We noticed yesterday that Jaguar in the US seemed to have confirmed that the US price for the new Jaguar XKR-S Convertible - currently strutting its stuff at the L.A. Auto show – is $138,875, and that the States is getting just 25 cars, which have all been sold. Despite a frantic search of our inbox, we couldn’t find any sign of a UK price for the soft-top XKR-S in the UK, so we got hold of Jaguar who have confirmed the UK list price as £103,000.

Mini Superleggera Vision Concept – a very different MINi Concept – at Villa D’Este

The Mini Superleggera Vision Concept (pictured) is a Villa D’Este special We’ve had our fill of VW Group concepts for Worthersee – like the Skoda CitiJet, Yeti XTreme and Audi A3 Clubsport - this last week, but now we’ve got a concept from MINI that isn’t just the usual slightly left-field take on a regular MINI, but a real original to grab our interest – the Mini Superleggera Vision Concept – and it’s heading to Villa D’Este. Built in collaboration with Touring Superleggera – which has built stunning concepts like the Alfa Romeo Disco Volante - the new MINI is a retro-looking small roadster with lots of historic design cues but with an EV powertrain under its clothes. There’s a fin on the back that looks like a Jaguar D Type, a pair of swage lines down the side, a long bonnet, a back end that has a hint of Aston Martin and even Union Jacks in the tail lights.
