Automatic transmission removed from a 1999 Chevy Silverado 1500 Extended Cab 4Wheel Drive Pickup ,the truck had a 5.3 Vortec V-8 engine ,I drove the truck this transmission was removed from more than 70 miles and it ran and shifted great ,I did not test the 4wheel drive  ,the truck had 200,000 miles and the transmission is a 4l60E ,comes with torque converter and trans fluid stick .

Race-car fan and private-equity executive Alex Mascioli is pumping $70 million into Saab as the Swedish automaker works to stay afloat. Mascioli's firm, North Street Capitol, is buying $10 million in shares of Swedish Automobile, which owns Saab, and is also giving the company a $60 million loan to pay for the carmaker's reorganization. U.S.-based North Street Capital struck a deal in September to buy the Spyker sports-car business from Swedish Automobile for $44 million.

AT&T launches campaign against texting and driving

AT&T has launched an 11-minute video designed to augment its anti-texting-and-driving campaign launched in March. The video is intended to reach consumers before New Year's Eve. Called "The Last Text," the video tells stories about people whose lives were adversely affected by texting while driving, including the parents of Mariah West, who died after texting "Where u at?" to a friend.
