Vehicle Interchange Data

When parts are listed we check interchange data provided by Hollander Interchange Data. When data is available we include this information here for your reference, but it is your responsibility to be sure the part fits prior to purchase. If it is not listed we do not know what other vehicles or applications this may fit.

Special Parts Request and Custom Applications

We are parting out the entire vehicle, so feel free to contact us with any part requests if you don't see the part you want listed for this vehicle. When we remove electrical items typically we try to include a length of the wire leads. If it is in the picture it comes with the part, if not it does not.

We also will work with you on custom requests. You only want part of the entire assembly we are selling? Email us and we can discuss getting it done for you. Some examples are:  Door handles with a specific amount cut out of steel from the door or a sunroof assembly with a specified amount of roof cutout to replace a larger sunroof.  Perhaps you want only the back part of a seat not the entire thing, or maybe you only need the bolts in an item, not the whole part. The possibilities are endless, just ask.

General Part Information and Warranty

These are used parts, so grease and grime and dirt is possible here. We strive and try hard to include any negative information about the item in the part detail above. Any cracks, broken tabs or so forth will be described there if we know about it. We do not sell any parts that are junk beyond their useable life. Parts that are like that go right in the dumpster or scrap metal pile.

All items are tested and are functional before we list the item. All of our auctions are final sales. Any non-warranty issue returned item will be charged a 30% restocking fee. We do not sell or warranty light bulbs or fuses. Parts that come with bulbs or fuses come as a courtesy. All other parts have a 30 day “Dead on Arrival” (DOA) warranty. The part will need to be returned for any warranty claim. All return shipping costs are at your expense. In the event of a refund we only refund the auction amount not shipping charges. (Of course if it is our error that causes the problem we refund 100%)

Shipping and Delivery Options

We ship via Priority Mail, Parcel Post and Fedex. Any item that has UPS listed as the shipping charge will be shipped via FEDEX. Ebay doesn't provide a Fedex Rate Calculator so we have to list it this way. We can and do combine shipping whenever possible. If you purchase multiple items and you would like them to be combined in one shipment and save on shipping charges please wait for us to send you a revised invoice before paying. This is not always possible but works out most of the time.

Your item will be shipped out within two days after payment (Friday/Sat payments will be shipped the following Monday). Holidays can delay shipments up to one extra day. This does not apply to freight shipped items as we have to assemble a crate or pallet and make the needed arrangements.

On large and bulky or heavy items we ship via the cheapest truck freight carrier. For any freight item please email for a freight quote. To avoid all shipping charges I will absolutely allow and encourage local pickup. (A $10 pickup fee applies to each item for pickup that has a winning bid under $25.)

As with any vehicle repairs sometimes you need the part right now and can not wait for an auction to end, if this is your situation let me know if we can agree on a price I will add a buy it now to the auction. We can ship via overnight FEDEX if you really need the part now.

Customer Service and Feedback

We absolutely strive for 100% satisfaction. In the unlikely event something goes wrong we would appreciate the opportunity to make the situation right. In order to do this we need communication from you of the problem. We cannot correct what we do not know about.

Your positive feedback would be greatly appreciated and will be matched with our positive feedback for you. ... If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact us and we will assist you in any manner that we are able to. Thank you so much for your consideration on buying this item, and thank you again for the opportunity to serve you.

One Lap of the Web: Ferrari goulash and Abarth gnocchi

Tue, 20 May 2014

-- South Korea's automotive legacy may not be as rich as, say, Czechoslovakia's, but don't tell collector Baek Joong-gil that. Not to his face, anyway. He might be behind the wheel of one of his five hundred cars, which includes such rarities as the Kia T-600 (Kia's first car, built under license from Mazda in 1963); the Cadillac Fleetwood of former president Park Chung-hee; and Korea's oldest fire truck.

Saab targets customers' hearts, brains and wallets in North America

Fri, 08 Jul 2011

Saab executives said they're optimistic the struggling brand will be able to attract customers despite production stoppages at the company's Trollhaettan, Sweden, plant and cash flow problems. The Swedish automaker aims to target consumers and instill confidence with a grass-roots marketing campaign that focuses on the "heart, brain and wallet," Saab Cars North America President Tim Colbeck told reporters at Saab's North American headquarters in suburban Detroit on Thursday. Colbeck said the company must move away from selling vehicles based on price and focus more on making customers enthusiastic about driving Saab's vehicles.

BMW Zagato coupe bows at Lake Como

Fri, 25 May 2012

Italian flair, German precision and a somewhat sobering dose of reality—that's the ethos behind the striking BMW Zagato coupe revealed on Friday at the glamorous Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este on the shores of Lake Como in Italy. The one-off coupe features elegant, sporty styling that blends traditional elements from both BMW and Zagato, which each have long histories of working with partners to produce impressive cars. But, this coupe is more than just a design exercise.
