Nissan Extrem: It’s a Micra Urban Crossover

Tue, 23 Oct 2012

The Extrem is, say Nissan, an ‘Urban Rally Car’ designed to be a tough street fighter and penned by Nissan Design in San Diego specifically for the Brazilian market. Based on the underpinnings of the Micra, the Extrem is 3850mm long and 1760mm wide and is, although it’s hard to judge in the photos, a chunk smaller than the Nissan’s current smallest crossover, the Juke.

2015 Honda Civic Type R previewed on video with ‘at least 276 bhp’

But Honda are planning on bringing the Type R back to life in 2015, but rather than a VTEC engine that only wanted to really play over 5000 rpm, Honda are heading back to hot hatch goodness with a new turbo engine that promises ‘at least’ 276bhp. That should make the next Honda Civic Type R not only a lot quicker than the last Type R, but its power will be accessible much lower down the rev range and economy and emissions will be much improved.

DREAM machines, like Ferraris and Lamborghinis, out-performed every other vehicle on Britain's roads when it came to secondhand values over the past 12 months. That’s the view of independent car information experts CAP Automotive. According to the firm’s research, increasing demand from wealthier motorists kept average used values in the Supercar sector almost unchanged on a year ago - while every other sector fell by as much as ten per cent.
