Up for sale is a 1999 GMC Savana owner's manual, warranty information booklet, and protective cover for both.  I bought a used van which was lacking an owner's manual.  I ordered this set, then lost the van in an accident six months later, so here I am with a nearly new set of manuals and no car to go with them.  In excellent condition, but I did write a few notes on the inside cover about load capacity and tire pressures and stuff.  When I checked on Helm's website they were out of these, so if you need an owner's manual, get these while you can!

A DRIVER caught travelling at 139mph in a 60mph zone leads new data showing dozens of cases of cars being recorded at well in excess of 100mph, according to data sourced from Police Scotland. The fastest speed captured was spotted on the A96 Keith to Huntly Road, one mile east of the B9115 Junction in Aberdeenshire, by a mobile speed camera. The figures, recorded over a 15-month period, were obtained through a Freedom of Information request by the Institute of Advanced Motorists.

Thu, 31 May 2012

At approximately 6:55 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on Wednesday, May 30, around the world, the engines of several thousand Shelby Mustangs, Cobras, GT40s and even a few Series 1s cranked to life and roared their terrible roars in tribute to their fallen maker, Carroll Shelby. “I've got friends in South Africa who are firing theirs up right now,” said a Shelby Mustang owner, standing amidst a sea of the barking beasts parked on the roof of the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles.
