I'll be listing quite a few oem parts from a 1999 Pontiac Firebird. I'm the original owner of this vehicle that currently has 122,500 miles. I'm parting this car out because the engine has failed and I don't have $2500.00 for a rebuilt one. For the last six years or so my daughter has used the vehicle. Italdesign Giugiaro releases ‘Timeline’ app
Thu, 23 Jun 2011Italdesign Giugiaro has released a new app called the "Giugiaro Timeline", spanning the company's illustrious design history. Available for the iPhone 3G, the iPhone 4 and the iPod Touch (sorry Android and Blackberry users) the app enables design enthusiasts to check out some of the products the company has been responsible for since its inception in 1968 (the year the Bizzarrini Manta made its debut at the Turin motor show). Implemented by the Italian web agency Easybit, the Giugiaro Timeline for the iPhone and the iPod Touch offers the same features as the iPad version.
The Future Role of the Vehicle Designer
Fri, 14 May 2010The vehicle design department at the Royal College of Art hosted the second in a series of five lectures looking at the future of the profession last week. Moving on from the previous week's topic of sustainability, this debate explored the future roles and responsibilities of the vehicle designer. Head of department Dale Harrow began by posing the question "Is it time to rethink – do we still need the car?" Although still relevant, Harrow's ultimate answer to this was that the profession was about to see marked change, with the end to an era where "designers are locked behind closed doors in studios".
