Hello everyone up for sale is the ECU computer from a JZZ30 Soarer non vvti. It is in very good condition with no modifications or damages to the board. The capacitors are all in tact, and the car ran perfectly fine before i pulled it out. Please keep in the mind this can be used on any 1JZ non vvti engine, but you have to make sure the main ecu plugs are the 4 row. The computer was pulled from a 5 speed vehicle so it will plug and play for anyone doing a 5 speed 1jz swap into a SC300/400. Its worth noting that this was pulled from my Soarer which has very low mileage. Also I am still in the process of parting everything out from the car, so if you need something from a JZZ30 Soarer let me know.

Free shipping to the US only. All others please message me before hand so I can give you a more accurate quote.

Tony Williams-Kenny announced as Design Director, SAIC Motor

Wed, 19 Jan 2011

Tony Williams-Kenny has been announced as the new global Design Director of Chinese automaker, SAIC Motor.  During his previous role as Design Director for SAIC Motor, UK, Williams-Kenny worked on various Roewe products, as well as being responsible for designing a new generation of MG models including the MG3, MG6 and MG Zero – the first concept car from the brand since 1985. When interviewed by CDN last year, we asked him how important design is in the company: "For me it's obvious SAIC gets the need for design and the need for a strong brand design relationship," he answered. "We have a really good review group at senior management level too, who actually want to be involved in design reviews and the decision making process." After gaining an MA in Automotive Design and a BA (Hons) in Transport Design from Coventry University in the UK in 1998, Kenny joined Mitsubishi Europe Design in Trebur, Germany as a designer.

VW Golf Bluemotion concept (2008): first pictures

Mon, 08 Sep 2008

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 08 September 2008 13:22 This is Volkswagen’s cleanest Mk6 Golf, a Bluemotion concept car that is claimed to achieve 74mpg while puffing out a paltry 99g/km. Those are figures on a par with today’s Polo Bluemotion, but this concept will become production reality in mid-2009.  A 1.6-litre common-rail diesel engine powers the new Golf Bluemotion, producing 104bhp and 184lb ft, but those remarkable figures are helped by revised ratios on the five-speed ‘box, optimised aerodynamics and low rolling resistance tyres. There’s also a particulate filter to keep the exhaust gases clean.
