Nissan NV200 (2012): London's next taxi cab?
Tue, 07 Aug 2012The London black cab is being thoroughly rebooted, and it's Nissan who's challenging the dominance of the traditional black taxi. It's brought a new NV200 London Taxi to the capital during the 2012 Olympics in its bid to replace one of the world's most iconic vehicles. Nissan claims the NV200 cab will be cheaper, greener, and more user-friendly than the current fleet of LTI TX4s, and we may yet see a fully electric version join the ranks if trials are successful.

The 25th Anniversary Edition of the MX-5 is based on the 2.0 litre Roadster Coupe with the 158bhp engine and can be had with either a manual or automatic gearbox, but just one colour – Soul Red Metallic. But like a ghost that won't go away or a car company that refuses to die, a reborn Viper has been penciled in for Dodge for 2012. A concept version of the next American supercar was shown in September in Orlando, Fla., by Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne to a convention center filled with thousands of people—most of them notoriously talkative car dealers.
