Zonda R officially unveiled

Fri, 16 Jan 2009

Pagani Zonda R – Only for the track With the Zonda about to bite the dust for an all new model in 2010/2011, Zonda has officially revealed the Zonda’s swansong – the track-only Zonda R. Looking like a super-version of the Zonda F (although with only 10% of the same components) the 7.3 litre AMG engined track car produces a huge 750 bhp, with a 0-60 of 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 250mph. A complete new carbon fibre monocoque, carbon fibre intakes, a 6-speed sequential ‘box and an F1-style exhaust make this the meanest Zonda to hit the road (or the track, in this case).

Mercedes coupes: the next generation

By Georg Kacher Motor Industry 14 October 2008 13:28 Mercedes is to shake up its entire family of coupes, CAR hears. The changes kick off with the new E-class coupe and will include a proper new C-class coupe (instead of today’s short-cut CLC), as well as repositioning the top-dog CL. The CLK badge will die next year, replaced by the E-class coupe.

MINI Soho: MINI’s next ‘London’ Limited Edition

Mon, 01 Aug 2011

MINI Soho, photographed in…Soho In case you’d forgotten, MINI decided earlier this year that all their Limited Edition would be named after London Boroughs, districts and landmarks. Hence the new Limited Edition MINI arrival gets the MINI Soho moniker. And actually – although MINI has in fact used the Soho moniker before (on the MINI Soho Clubman last year) - it’s a perfectly good name for the MINI, a car that still evokes the swinging sixties and all things London.
