Nissan BladeGlider EV Sports Car Concept for Tokyo Motor Show

Fri, 08 Nov 2013

The Nissan BladeGlider EV Sports Car Concept (pictured) will debut at the Tokyo Motor Show Nissan are trying to push the envelope for road-going electric cars with the BladeGlider electric car concept that will debut at the Tokyo Motor Show this month and looks – at least in some form – to be heading for production. Inspired by the aero industry – and taking inspiration from Nissan’s DeltWing Project – the BladeGlider gets a very narrow front track and a much wider rear, wrapped in carbon fibre reinforced plastic with an interior that offers a 1+2 seating arrangement. Nissan say the extremely narrow front track reduces drag and enhances manoeuvrability for extreme cornering, and its 30/70 rear-biased weight distribution could give plenty of tail-out fun.

New Mercedes A Class leaks out early

Mon, 05 Mar 2012

New Mercedes A Class leak The new Mercedes A Class has hit the web before Mercedes has had time to take the wraps off in Geneva The new Mercedes A Class has been coming for some time, and we’ve had the Concept A to give us a clue and plenty of spy shots and video of the new A Class to keep us pointed in the right direction. Now have the first official photo leaked to us in our inbox just hours before Mercedes take the wraps of the new A Class officially. At first glance when the photo of the new A Class dropped in we thought it looked like a BMW 1 Series with a Mercedes star on the front.

Honda Jazz Hybrid / Honda Fit Hybrid revealed

Wed, 25 Aug 2010

The Honda Jazz Hybrid will debut at the Paris Motor Show Despite not really believing that Hybrid cars are anything other than a stop-gap (if they’re any use at all in small cars) Honda is pushing forward with its hybrid range by dropping the hybrid bits from the Insight in to the Jazz to make the Honda Jazz Hybrid (in the Americas, China and Japan read that as Honda Fit Hybrid). The Honda Jazz Hybrid – which will be revealed at the Paris Motor Show in just over a month – will be the first B-Segment hybrid to hit the market (supermini in English), and its smaller size may help the Insight’s hybrid bits be a bit more fun. But don’t hold your breath.
