Book captures Ford's Farley launching F-bomb at GM

A new book about the Detroit auto industry rebuilding itself is showing that old rivalries are still alive and kicking in the Motor City. In Once Upon a Car by Bill Vlasic, Ford Motor Co.'s marketing chief lobs an F-bomb at General Motors. "We're going to beat on them, and it's going to be fun," the book quotes Jim Farley, Ford's group vice president of global marketing, sales and service, as saying.

Opel/Vauxhall Corsa The new Opel/Vauxhall Corsa is the most significant new design to be launched yesterday at the press day of the newly reintroduced British Motor Show. Peugeot is unveiling two show cars at next month's Geneva motor show based its new 208, alongside the reveal of the production range. The Peugeot 208 XY Concept suggests how a more premium 208 might look, while the GTi Concept needs no introduction. Both show cars suggest Peugeot is keen to continue its efforts to move upmarket.
