Up for your consideration today, a matching pair of chrome trunk light wings for 1946-1947 Nash 600 or Ambassador models. There is medium to heavy pitting over both pieces, the worst being on the underside. The worst pitting is illustrated. Rare trim pieces. Mounting studs are present and good, but they are missing the nuts and washers. Would be passable for a daily driver or Rat Rod. Would need to be repaired and re-chromed for a show-car. Sold As-Is.

The Infiniti Emerg-E, which has been revealed today at the Geneva Motor Show, looks to be a properly promising supercar from Infiniti, and utilises the expensive range-extender technology to produce a stunning-looking car with proper performance potential. Power for the Emerg-E comes from a pair of electric motors powering the back wheels with a combined output of 402bhp and is capable, say Infiniti, of up to 300 miles between charge thanks to its 1.2 litre 3-pot range extending engine (which comes from Lotus) and up to 30 miles on EV power.

And, because of the lightness of construct and instant torque of an electric motor, you can make it sprint to 60mph in pretty short shrift. Whether, with all the lard that comes with  thousands of laptop batteries, you can make it go round corners properly… Which has obviously inspired Nissan to send the LEAF and the 370Z off to conjugate somewhere suitable, with orders to deliver up the resulting oxymoron – an electric sports car – to the Geneva Motor Show.
