These beautiful polished black chrome spikes are 2 3/4 inches long. The base is 3/4" dia. The black chrome has a unique look that is kind of like smoke tinted mirrors. It is not paint. This has a quality finish unlike the cheaper spikes available on ebay. Perfect for creating a helmet that stands out in a crowd. You won't get lost in a sea of black helmets when you screw one or more of these sick puppies on your helmet. Or add some wickedness to your bike, rat rod, etc. The screw has 1/4 20 threads which are very common. These also will fit the threads that hold the air cleaner on older cars that aren't metric. (great for rat rods)

Ford cuts CEO's compensation 37%

CEO Alan Mulally earned $13.57 million in total compensation in 2008, a 37 percent decline, as the automaker avoided seeking a federal bailout while posting a record loss. Mulally will take an additional 30 percent cut in salary this year and next as he battles a global financial crisis and the worst U.S.
Vintage racer Anatoly Arutunoff in serious but stable condition
Thu, 10 Feb 2011Automotive enthusiast, vintage racer, rapscallion and country-boy bon vivant Anatoly Arutunoff is in serious but stable condition following an accident on Feb. 8 while reportedly being a Good Samaritan. Arutunoff, known as Toly to his friends, was on his way to the Sports Car Club of America convention in Las Vegas when he stopped to help a stranded driver along Interstate 40 in Amarillo, Texas.
