Item (1814) early production 2.57 reduction unit for Borg Warner Velvet Drive marine Transmissions. From transmission model AS14-72C.  This is the early production unit from a late 70's or  early 80's transmission.  Used but Excellent condition removed from a very low hour, working transmission (boat was re-powered with diesels early on and has been sitting on the shelf since). It has been lightly cleaned and inspected, no damage or problems all part are good useable/above average condition.  It has been reassembled for shipping purposes only, and will require dis-assembly, further cleaning and new seals and gaskets before using.  Rear bearing shows only light wear but should be usable. nice part, no disappointment with this one. some mounting bolts included as pictured.  Parts pictured are the parts you will receive.  Please bid with confidence because your  SATISFACTION is GUARANTEED!!  If you are not satisfied with this item it can be returned within 30 days for a refund.  You will receive quality packing and prompt shipping.   Item will be shipped USPS  priority  mail or UPS ground your choice at check out.  Thanks for looking.

Nissan has today announced that it has designed and built a catamaran as the latest part of its non-automotive design and development program. Matt Struble, who led the design and modeling team at Nissan Design America (NDA) in San Diego, will be racing the Class A Catamaran in the 2011 World Championship from August 13 through 20 in Skødstrup, Denmark. The team sought to improve and smooth all aspects of aero- and hydro-dynamics of the vessel, with the boat's composite structure designed and built in-house.
