Other parts out there can be made in a 2 step process that include two-sided tape backing and a combination of plastic and chrome plating. All of which fade, crack and begin to lift after only a 5 year period. Because they sit on top of a layer of foam tape these other products make it impossible to get rid of the wax buildup after each wax job, or even the stains of normal use, and will leave the paint underneath wrecked.

Detroit Electric moves production to Holland

Detroit Electric is going ahead with production of its Lotus-based sports car in the lovely Detroit suburb of…Holland. Unfortunately it's not the coastal city in the western part of Michigan, but the one in northern Europe. The facility will begin production in the fourth quarter of this year, according to the Detroit News.
