Huntington Beach, California, United States

Gerolamy tubular log manifold for 4-cylinder Nissan/Datsun L-Series engine.  Complete with Holley 500 carburetor and air cleaner.   Needs to be gone through and have the jetting checked.  This is used, and as such, has some scratches, dents and other signs of use.  The foam on the air cleaner element is old and has a few holes.  It should be replaced, which looks fairly easy as it wraps around a wire mesh and has some plastic rings that retain it. The chrome on the air cleaner is also old and a little pitted, but it does not affect the function in any way. The carburetor looks to be in good shape.  There will be hose clamps on all of the connections from the rubber hoses to the manifold parts, hardware to bolt the carb to the manifold, and the air cleaner to the carb will also be included when it is shipped.

You will need to supply the hardware to bolt the manifold to the engine, the fuel line, and linkage connection.

Please ask any questions you might have.  I've done my best to describe this setup accurately, but have not done ore than a cursory inspection.

Freight and sale tax are dependent on your location, and typically are for the continental United States.  International shipments will need to have freight calculated.

Teen driving: Can computers teach us to drive?

Thu, 03 Sep 2009

Can technology help us do a better job of training novice drivers? Note the term "novice," which is coming to replace "teen" as the focus of national concern about inexperienced drivers. This stems in part from graduated driver licensing (GDL) laws that have pushed up the age of new drivers and is partially a reflection of recent studies showing that it's not just newly licensed drivers, but all inexperienced drivers younger than 25 who are at higher risk of death or injury in car crashes.

Councils to cut roadworks red tape

Tue, 19 Aug 2014

COUNCILS in England could soon have the power to cut red tape and make road works much quicker and more accountable. The plan is to introduce permits for any company that wants to dig up a road, which means they will have to co-ordinate their work with other companies and local authorities to reduce the impact of delays on the public. The permit scheme could come into force as early as April 2015 and means anyone applying for a permit to carry out road works will need to present a convincing case for the work.

Bugatti will continue to produce the world's fastest cars - and that's a promise by the new chief executive of Bugatti. 'It is vital that Bugatti produces the world's fastest car,' Durheimer said.
