We’ve brought various bits of information about the McLaren P11 – the F430 / LP560 size car – recently, a project that will certainly keep Ron busy, but there’s more information coming out on the new ‘Baby’ McLaren today. Lexus launches own Design Award contest

The first Lexus Design Award has been launched that gives the next generation of designers the chance of seeing their work showcased at next year's Milan Design Week. The theme of this global competition is ‘Motion', with Lexus looking for designs that respond to issues 
in daily life that relate to ‘Motion' as well as providing solutions. Two of the ten award winners will then develop prototypes with a renowned designer – either Sam Hecht or Junya Ishigami – acting as their mentor.

Ferrari North Europe aiming for 1,000 Ferraris at Silverstone in record attempt

Ferrari North Europe have already had 600 Ferraris register for the record attempt at Silverstone in September on the Ferrari Parade Record. Last month, when we reported that Ferrari Racing Days are back at Silverstone in September, we mentioned that Ferrari North Europe were planning on grabbing back their record for the most Ferraris on parade. Yes, another of those records nobody really knew existed.
