EyesOn Design Awards 2014 presented in Detroit

The winners of the EyesOn Design Awards have been announced in COBO Hall at the end of the second press day of the 2014 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. More than 30 competition judges, who are active or retired heads of design at automotive manufacturers and chairs of transportation design education programs, declared the Ford Mustang the ‘Best Production Car'. The 2015 model, relaunched in time for the model's upcoming 50-year anniversary, is instantly recognizable as a Mustang, retaining similar proportions to the outgoing model but with a more sculpted and sophisticated silhouette.

Monterey car week is the perfect time for automakers to launch new concepts and debut special edition vehicles. But it's usually the big names in the luxury/performance world -- the heavy hitters, if you will -- that show up and show off. Stolen Jaguar E-Type returned to owner after 46 years

A Jaguar E-Type that was stolen from outside its owner’s New York apartment in 1968 will be returned to its rightful custodian 46 years after the car first went missing.
