THESE ARE GREAT HELMETS FOR CHEAP!! My wife and I used our lower cords put these Helmets on today 8-3 and hooked them up to our Gold Wing and the J&M 477 Elite headsets worked perfect!! Great sound, voice activated vox cuts the music down for crisp clear talking and then backup to volume when done talking. THESE HELMETS ARE REALLY NICE!! HARDLY USED AT ALL. ALL THE STICKER HAVE BEEN REMOVED FOR A BLACKED OUT LOOK WITH A DARK TINTED SHIELD AND A MIRRORED SHIELD. THE MIRRORED SHIELD HAS SOME SCRATCHES BUT IS STILL VERY USABLE. THEY LOOK GREAT!! TWO CLEAR SHIELDS ALSO INCLUDED. THE HELMETS HAVE SOME VERY LIGHT SCUFFS AND SMALL SCRATCHES FROM MINIMAL USE. THE XXL HAD A BLUE "Z" ON THE BACK THAT I COVERED OVER WITH A BLACK MARKER (cant hardly see it) THE FLASH ON CAMERA PICKED IT UP WAY WORSE THAN IT REALLY IS. YOU REALLY CANT HARDLY SEE IT. THE INSIDES OF THE HELMETS ARE TRULY LIKE NEW CANT TELL THEY HAVE EVEN BEEN WORN. BOTH HELMETS ARE DOT/SNELL APPROVED. THE HELMETS HAVE J&M ELITE INTERCOM HEADSETS INSTALLED WITH 8-PIN UPPER CORDS SO WITH THE RIGHT LOWER CORD YOU CAN PLUG THEM INTO ANYTHING YOU WANT. THE HELMETS SEEM TO RUN A LITTLE SMALL WE THINK MORE LIKE A MEDIUM AND A XLARGE. WE TOOK THESE FOR A CRUISE AND TESTED THEM OUT, THEY WORK GREAT!! 2013 Kia Pro_cee’d revealed

Back in March we had what appeared to be the first leaked sketch of the 2013 Kia Pro_cee’d – Kia’s three-door sporty take on the new cee’d – but since then, nothing. But we’ve now got the first photos of the new Pro_cee’d ahead of its reveal at the Paris Motor Show in a week or two, and it looks convincing.
CAR’s £1000 support for upcoming journalists – in honour of Phil Llewellin
Mon, 19 Aug 2013The Phil Llewellin Student Journalist of the Year award will go to the best student writer from the motoring journalism courses at Coventry and Cardiff Universities. The winner receives £1000 and also a work experience placement at CAR magazine, whose pages were graced by Phil Llewellin’s work until his untimely death in 2005. Entries for the award, run by the Guild of Motoring Writers, must be received by 30 September, with the winner announced at the RAC Club in London on 5 December.

Fri, 21 Mar 2014Last week we asked you if you'd be interested in a Nissan Micra, which is built in Mexico and is available in Canada and dozens of other countries, but not in the U.S. A substantial majority of our readers, 77 percent, voted that they would be interested in buying the $9,100 Micra if it was sold in America, a slightly lower percentage than for most of our past foreign-vehicle polls (which were all quite different, it should be noted). The Micra essentially offers the same engine and almost the same amount of interior space as the Nissan Versa Note at 2/3 the price of a stateside Note, which is already considered to be about as spartan as it gets despite a $14,780 price tag.
