here is a matching pair of 600-1850-3 4160 tunnel ram race carburetors with brand new linkage hardware return spring and bracket intake studs nuts and locks 2 brand new 6 inch breathers complte with studs nice wing nuts breather elements fuel pressure regulater with guage also new braided fuel lines clamps not in picture both carbs have the choke horn milled off taller dominater style vent tubes new quick fuel adjustable secondary housings all new holley blue nonstick gaskets new 4 window 4.5 power valves power valve back fire protecter installed in baseplates new needle valves screws hardware diaphrams in accelerater pump check valves secondary housings have new diaphrams of course new needle and seat adjusting nut screw and gaskets baseplate resurfaced matching 66 front jets matching metering plates matching 25 squirters with new check weights and gaskets these will run on a big block or small block all you need is an intake to put all of this on these are silver and zinc plated carbs that look like new inside and out banjo fuel fittings on both carbs as you can see in the picture it has the high flow low profile stainless steel screws in both baseplates the person I got these from had c-s racing thin the throttle blades down for more air flow you can run a vacuum hose from the ports on the side of the metering blocks to help balance out the vacuum so the secondarys are sure to open at the same time both adjustable secondarys are set just alike you can go bigger on the jets and squirters to use these on a large cubic inch big block they are jetted for a strong small block or mild big block right now I installed new idle mixture screws and cork gaskets if you want the big head stainless screws I can change them out these carbs out performed a set of 450 tunnel ram carbs at a 1/4 of a mile track in Atlanta that was with just the choke flaps removed and a white spring in each secondary housing since then ive milled the choke horns added dominater style vent tubes put new quick fuel adjustable secondary housings so you can time what rpm the 4 barrel opens up its more important to control that when running 2x4s putting a vacuum line from one metering block to the next helps keep the vacuum balanced because vacuum is what sucks open the secondarys these were on a 340 70 model duster so its not too much gas for a small block they have the same jets squirters and secondary metering plates that were ran on the 340 they just have all new insides a bunch of upgrades and machine work and a cosmetic make over IVE DECIDED THAT ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP IN THE PICTURE WOULD MAKE A GOOD PAPER WEIGHT IT MAKES EVERYTHING ELSE LOOK BAD LOLBUT THE CARBS ARE TOP CONDITION AND THE BREATHERS LINKAGE AND HARDWARE ARE ALL BRAND NEW CARBS AND ALL THE OTHER PARTS HAVE A WARRANTY ON THEM NOT THE JUNK THAT PRESSURE REGULATER IS NEW BUT IT DOESNT LOOK LIKE MUCH TO ME THAT STUFF IS FREE YOUR BIDDING ON CARBS LINKAGE BREATHERS HARDWARE THE REST WILL MAKE GOOD BALLIST IN THE BOXES

Toyota has managed to corner the market in hybrid cars over the last decade after its remarkably prescient decision to focus on ‘Eco’ cars long before the mainstream cottoned on to the changing mood of governments – and car buyers – to the impact cars have on wallets and the environment. We won’t drag out our usual objections to the ceaseless quest for pointless ever-lower CO2 emissions, but we will instead commend the Prius for being a remarkable transport appliance, one which – if driven in a certain manner – can produce remarkable feats of economy and emit pleasingly low levels of the stuff that does real harm – NOx and Particulates.

According to Jeremy Clarkson, the reason we had no Top Gear last autumn, and the reason we’re seeing the Top Gear Christmas Special to find the source of the Nile in Africa in £1500 estates now, is that the BBC schedules were too crammed with stuff like the summer of sport, Strictly Come Dancing and I’m a Z-list Celebrity. But if the viewing figures for part 1 of the Top Gear special to find the source of the Nile are anything to go by, the Beeb would have been better airing Top Gear than the Autumn fodder of ‘reality’ shows last year, as Top Gear stuffed the current reality show – Dancing on Ice – in last Sunday’s ratings.
