Mitsubishi takes its Evo X racing
Tue, 16 Sep 2008By Ben Whitworth First Official Pictures 16 September 2008 13:22 Mitsubishi is taking its Evo X racing. Working with ADR Motorsport - the team that already builds and runs the two-works Mitsubishis currently competing in the British Rally Championship – Mitsubishi will enter a race-prepped Evolution X into the Britcar Championship.Driven by BTCC regular James Kaye, the Mitsubishi works entry will wear the official red and chrome Ralliart livery and make its public debut at this weekend’s Britcar 24-hour race 'It is anticipated that the engine will develop around 400bhp which, together with the Evo’s four-wheel-drive system and inherently good chassis, should make it a highly-competitive package,' said Kaye. If all goes well, Kaye will contest a full season in the 2009 Britcar Championship series.
2014 Lexus CT 200h: Guangzhou Motor Show
Thu, 21 Nov 2013The new 2014 Lexus CT 200h (pictured) has debuted in China It’s three years since Lexus delivered their compact hybrid CT 200h and, as we revealed last week, a new CT 200h for 2014 is on the way. Lexus has now revealed the 2014 CT 200h at the Guangzhou motor show in China, and it gets the new Lexus face of a statement spindle grill, but it also gets changes that should help make the CT 200h more appealing. Top of those changes is improvements in the way the CT 200h rides; our biggest criticism of the CT 200h was that it had the harsh ride of a sporty car but without the power to exploit the setup.
Mercedes at the London motor show 2008
Wed, 23 Jul 2008Little in the way of new metal on the Merc stand – but you can let your kids have a crack at driving if they're taller than 4ft 11in in a special Merc contest By By Gavin Green and CAR reader reporter Sandy T Motor Shows 23 July 2008 00:29 Mercedes were one of the few premium brands to bother making an appearance at the 2008 London motor show and, although there were no whizz-bang world debuts, there was a reminder of just how busy the car maker has been recently. What’s new on the Mercedes stand? Not much.
