Bentley Continental GT 2011 Spied

Thu, 25 Mar 2010

The 2011 Bentley Continental GT The Bentley Continental GT – complete with its awesome W12 engine – has been with us for seven years and has managed to cement a reputation as a hugely capable car – if a little tainted by the ‘WAG’ paintbrush. But get past the footballers car label and the Continental GT – particularly the GT Speed – is a very desirable ‘VW’ Bentley. Alfa Romeo MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde at Frankfurt

Thu, 10 Sep 2009

Alfa will be bringing the 170bhp Alfa Romeo MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde to Frankfurt Alfa Romeo has revealed that they’ll be bringing the  MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde (MiTo four leaf clover) to the Frankfurt Motor Show next week, featuring a 170bhp Multiair engine as we reported back in June (goodness, we’re ahead of the game sometimes!). The ‘Quadrifoglio’ bit refers back to Alfa’s racing history, and was the emblem used on those cars and was most recently seen on special editions of the Alf GT and 147. But the biggest news, apart from the extras and the paint job, is the clever Multiair system that Alfa is busy introducing.

Goodwood Moving Motor Show: (almost) an unqualified success

Fri, 02 Jul 2010

The Goodwood Moving Motor Show Yesterday we toddled along to Goodwood to see the set up for this year’s Festival of Speed and to have a look at the Moving Motor Show in action for the first time. We also – courtesy of Jaguar, who had invited us for the day – got an early drive up the hillclimb-based circuit that forms part of the Moving Motor Show’s appeal for the lucky ones who got the opportunity to take the wheel of one of the impressive bunch of cars on display. And it was an impressive bunch, with everything from the Toyota Auris Hybrid to the Rolls Royce Phantom DHC via the Audi R8 and the new Jaguar XJ on offer to drive.
