Our shade meet all Australian state laws regarding car window tinting of side rear windows.

From outside the window will just look darker as the back sticky side is black, but from inside your child will be protected from the strength of the sun’s glare.

Step by step instructions:
Clean the window of any finger prints, dirt and make sure it is dry.

You will need:
Pencil and scissors

How to apply:
  1. If you have a vent window. Cut the vinyl roughly so each piece comfortably covers the window.
  2. With the window closed, peel the backing paper off. Roughly place the black side of the vinyl on the INSIDE window and keep the design visually straight. Then from the centre out, start to rub it down. If you have a crease, you can peel it back from that edge and rub the crease out from the centre. Rub the vinyl to the very edges of the window.
  3. Then with a pencil lightly trace the sides and bottom edge of the window onto the vinyl.
  4. Once happy, peel back one side at a time (do the top last) and cut 5mm (overlap) out from the pencil line with a scissors. Then rub back down and tuck the vinyl under the edges with a plastic card and under the bottom seal. To do the top, wind down the window, pencil the edge, peel up, cut the pencil line and rub back down.

New 2015 Skoda Fabia revealed – well, sort of

Thu, 17 Jul 2014

The design sketch of the 2015 Skoda Fabia We’re not entirely sure we can consider the design sketch of the new Skoda Fabia (above) as a reveal of Skoda’s supermini, but it is a clue to what we can expect when the new Fabia arrives in the coming weeks. Skoda tell us that the new Fabia will be taking its design cues from the Vision C Concept we saw at Geneva – and the new Octavia –  and that is a new direction for Skoda  with added width and a flatter body creating, say Skoda, more harmonious proportions. Of course, the design sketch of the new Fabia has the usual artistic license to make it more dynamic than the reality will be, with the end product when it arrives likely to look much like a smaller version of Skoda’s latest efforts.

Chevrolet Trax is a rebadged Opel / Vauxhall Mokka

Mon, 14 May 2012

Chevrolet Trax - arrives at Paris in September The Chevrolet Trax – a compact SUV – has been revealed and will make its debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.  We’ve already seen the Buick Encore in the US become the Opel and Vauxhall Mokka in Europe, and now it’s to morph again in to the Chevrolet Trax, a compact SUV for GM to sell under another brand. GM has revealed that Chevrolet take on the Encore/Mokka will arrive at the 2012 Paris Motor Show in September before going on sale in the UK and Europe – and 140 countries around the world – in spring 2013. With Chevrolet planning the Trax as a world car it seems likely that the engines on offer will be a mix of those found in the Buick Encore and the Vauxhall Mokka.

SCARCITY OF ECO CARS KEEPS VALUES HIGH

Thu, 10 Oct 2013

ACCORDING to the latest AA Fuel Price Index, petrol prices rose in January by the biggest amount in recent times. Although there is considerable Government lobbying to slow down fuel price rises, there appears to be no immediate respite for private motorists. With this continued pressure on family finances, leading vehicle auction company, British Car Auctions (BCA) is seeing a significant increase in buyers seeking the most fuel efficient vehicles which, in turn, is pushing up prices at auction.
