Turn signal issues with LED bulbs LED brake/tail lamps may not flash with thermal flasher units (Old Style) due to their extremely low current draw. Sometimes, with stock flasher units, the turn signals may flash faster than normal (Hyper-Flash) or trigger bulb-out indicator on dash. Some vehicles will also disable the cruise control system if a brake light bulb is being indicated as bad. These installations may require a electronic flasher unit, available at your auto parts store. Flashers designed to work with LED bulbs will often say "LED compatible". HEAVY DUTY flashers may also work with LED bulbs,but don’t let these things discourage you. There is a simple solution: Install a resistor. Resistors are nothing more than devices that "fool" the vehicle into thinking it still has the original bulbs. They do this by simulating their load. Many places sell resistors adequate for the application of your LED bulbs. Generally the ones you will want are 6 Ohm 50 Watt Resistors for Turn signals, and you will need one per side.

The efficiency of LED sources, measured in lumens per watt, is overtaking that of incandescent and halogen sources. Their extreme longevity which can last up to 50,000 hours ensures less maintenance cost for light installations, less usage of bulbs and therewith also less waste for the environment. For example, the initial costs of an incandescent light source may only be low; however, its energy consumption will easily cost more over its relatively short life. John Buckingham's Lagonda project was one of several Aston Martin projects featured this year. This is a front-engined limousine in the style of the 1976 Bill Towns Lagonda with a compact cabin, shallow DLO and a very long, high tail combined with a much more 'delicate' aesthetic than existing full-size limousines. Unusual features include a shark nosed form with concave sculpted fenders inspired by the DB3R and a full-width light bar visor contained in an inverted Aston grille.

The Bentley Continental GT3 (pictured) is at Goodwood this weekend We actually had the reveal of the Bentley Continental GT3 at the Paris Motor Show last year, but at the time details and specifications were a bit thin on the ground, and Bentley were calling it a ‘Concept’. But now, with the Continental GT3 strutting its stuff at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and ready to play, Bentley has seen fit to tell us how much power the GT3 has, and how much weight it’s shed. Remarkably, the Continental GT3′s weight is a substantial 100kg less than the road-going GT, weighing it at an almost lightweight 1300kg.
