This auction is for (2) new Carburetor Throttle Return Springs (as pictured) -- there are two sizes included in this auction - the smaller spring slides into the bigger one, so they basically work together - these can also be cut and rebent for custom applications -- GM used the same springs for many many years, so they fit most cars/trucks from the 1960's thru 1980's!

  • Both Springs are Approximately 5" Long
  • Bigger Spring Coil is 2-23/64" Long, Coil Diameter is 23/32", Wire Size is 3/64" in Diameter
  • Smaller Spring Coil is 2-1/2" Long, Coil Diameter is 1/2", Wire Size is 1/16" in Diameter

Full details of the 2010 Subaru Legacy Tourer As we reported when the Legacy was launched at Frankfurt,  all Legacy models get a Boxer engine and four-wheel drive. But you do get a choice of either a diesel or a petrol Boxer lump. The diesel Boxer in the Legacy offers decent performance – 0-60mph in 9.6 seconds and a top speed of 120mph – and emissions of 161g/km with fuel consumption at 46.3mpg.

Petersen Museum gets new chair

Peter Mullin, a car guy with excellent taste and the means to do something about it, has become chairman of the board of the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. Lucky place, the Petersen. Mullin's vice-chairs, who will help lead the museum into the 21st century, are uber car guys Bruce Meyer and David Sydorick, both longtime supporters of the institution.
