2" Trailer Hitch Receiver Tube Cover Plug, Carbon Fiber, Draw-tite 1202, Custom on 2040-parts.com
Alameda, California, US
For sale is one trailer hitch cover tube plug for 2” receivers. The material is plastic and the manufacturer is Draw-Tite (Part Number 1202). A carbon fiber vinyl adhesive has been applied to the face which creates a very unique and custom look. This is only a veneer and not real carbon fiber. This plug utilizes a simple design to provide a very tasteful and finished appearance. It's also very functional by serving to prevent debris from collecting inside the receiver. The face measures 3” wide and 3” tall with rounded corners. The snout forms a press-fit inside the receiver tube.
For those interested, I also sell this same plug without the carbon fiber adhesive for $2 less. In addition, I sell a polished aluminum version which is extremely custom yet still simple like these. Please check out my other listings if you're interested. As always, I'm happy to answer any questions you may have. Thanks for looking and have a great day! -Jeff

Concept Car of the Week: Matra Laser (1971)
Fri, 12 Apr 2013Founded in 1937, French company Matra began its activities by manufacturing military equipment such as aeronautics and weaponry. In the mid ‘60s, under Jean-Luc Lagardere's ambitious direction, the company bought Automobiles Rene Bonnet to expand its portfolio with street and racing cars. The first model solely developed by Matra was the bonkers, but brilliant, 1967 M530, which took its name from the company's surface-to-air missile the R530.
Audi lights up for the shortest day
Thu, 19 Dec 2013AUDI UK has created a stunning series of low-light photos to celebrate its success this year, just in time for the shortest day of the year. The seven photos use a technique called ‘light painting’, where a stationary object in the dark is lit up by a small hand-held light to selectively brighten areas over a long exposure period to eventually create an unusual-looking end result. To the trained eye it looks like Audi has supplemented the photographer’s torch with static lighting to increase the beauty of the end result, but there’s no doubting their success.
